Biography of Alfred Lloyd
Alfred Lloyd is an agent of the Order of Dyungius, originally from Strontsia, a human state of Vorto. Aldeviy sent him to Earth as a test of the Z.A.R.K. technology — to find traces of the Rodievs, watch over Reed Industries, and be ready to make contact when Alniviya appeared.
The crossing to Earth did not go as planned. Instead of an exact point near Rafael, Lloyd ended up in Australia, where he had to build a new life, documents, contacts, and a cover story literally from scratch. His first years went to learning the language, earthly laws, technology, and how states work. Lloyd quickly realized that in a world without open magic, the main power becomes information, documents, money, and access to closed structures. Humanity, as always, had simply reinvented magic — only it called it bureaucracy and intelligence work.
Over time, Lloyd built himself a new identity and entered the world of international security. His gift for languages, his keen observation, his composure, and his unusually deep grasp of hidden political processes made him useful to Earth's intelligence services. At first he worked as an outside analyst and consultant on international risks, then became linked to American structures and gradually entered the system of the CIA. There he established himself under cover as a specialist in unconventional threats, transnational ties, and corporate investigations.
His work in the CIA was, for Lloyd, not an abandonment of the Order's mission but a convenient earthly shell for it. Through intelligence channels he gained access to databases, classified dossiers, satellite imagery, financial trails, and corporate connections. It was this that let him pick up Rafael's trail not through magic, but through technology.
Beside Rafael, Lloyd noticed another figure — Diana Alinova. Her closed projects, her interest in rare materials and the Australian opal mines, and her strange independent agenda gradually aroused his suspicion. Using his ties within the intelligence world, Lloyd began to gather information about her movements, her financial schemes, and the sites that did not pass through the usual channels of Reed Industries.
When Alniviya crossed over to Earth, Lloyd met her during a Reed Industries hackathon. Later it is Lloyd who points Alniviya toward Diana's trail in Australia. In Coober Pedy she finds an underground facility tied to the M.A.R. project, documents mentioning Diana and Namibius, and proof of Alinova's double game. After escaping the laboratory, Alniviya realizes she must report everything to Lloyd and Aldeviy at once.
Lloyd's main strength is restraint. He is an operative who gathered data, waited for the right moment, and learned to act without wasting words.
