About the people
The Vigs are the native people of Lageria. They live in dry mountain lands where everything depends on water, supplies, craft, and the ability to defend their home. Their settlements rest on fortresses, workshops, military yards, and strong clan bonds.
From childhood, a Vig grows used to being part of a clan. He learns to work with his hands, listen to elders, bear arms, and answer not only for himself.
Daily life and customs
Life among the Vigs is simple and harsh. In Lageria there is little to spare: homes are built sturdy, things are repaired until the very end, and water and supplies are guarded carefully. But almost everything here is tied to war. Settlements are full of workshops, storehouses, military yards, and open grounds where weapons are prepared, hides are dried, gear is repaired, and the young are taught to hold formation.
For the Vigs, military training is not a separate task but part of ordinary life. Some repair straps and saddles, others prepare stores, tend animals, or train with spears and shields. Talhors help carry heavy loads, while ilteks serve as mounts on roads and mountain paths. In Lageria, people value those who are useful to their clan: able to work with their hands, defend their home, and keep their word.
