Lageria is a Vig state in southwestern Vorto. It is a dry mountain country of fortresses, harsh daily life, and a rigid order. Here, much rests on clans, elders, shamans, and military training.
The main city of Lageria is Lagmar. It is a mountain fortress and the center of Vig power. Craft, military yards, stores, and workshops are concentrated around it. Lagerian cities are built from what the land gives: stone, clay, and wood. That is why they look heavy, dry, and strong.
History
First Campaign of Namibius
During Namibius's first campaign, Lageria sided with him. The Vigs saw the strength of the new army and joined the march north. This decision shaped other countries' attitude toward Lageria for a long time.
Loss of Dolmar
After the Liberation War, Lageria lost Dolmar, one of its most important cities and its former center of power. This loss became a political and historical wound for the Vigs. Later, New Dolmar appeared above old Dolmar, raised by the mages of Rodia.
Alliance with the Black Bear Brotherhood
In the new conflict, the Black Bear Brotherhood turns to Tarmak and offers Lageria an alliance. For the Vigs, this is a chance to restore former influence and once again become a force others must reckon with.
