Strontsia lies near the northern part of central Vorto, a land of forests, hills, and river valleys. The Merk begins here, runs through Merdan, continues into Yarog, and flows into Grovn Lake. Towns and settlements line the river, connected by roads and crossings.
During the Liberation War, Strontsia sided with Rodia against Namibius. After the victory, the kingdom pledged to come to Rodia's aid again should he return.
Authority and Structure
Strontsia is ruled by King Mark Mordan. The crown has passed within House Mordan for many generations. The king approves laws and is responsible for the country's defense and relations with other states.
Representatives of Strontsia's towns and lands gather in Merdan. They discuss taxes, roads, trade, border defense, and bring the people's petitions before the king. The assembly proposes decisions, but the final word belongs to the king.
