Rodians

Rodia's multi-people society, shaped after the Liberation War around Mansenwill, magic, service, and a shared Rodian order.

About the people

Rodians are not a single people in the narrow sense, but the society of a great realm born after the Liberation War. Rodia is home to the people of Mansenwill, Ammat, Lower Mansenwill, and other cities, as well as uazd mages, gamd engineers, officials, artisans, merchants, soldiers, students, and residents of annexed lands. They are united not by blood, but by belonging to the Rodian order, loyalty to Mansenwill, and memory of the war with Namibius.

Rodians see themselves as heirs of victory and defenders of the Light in Vorto. Their culture is built around magic, education, service, engineering craft, and respect for the state. White-and-gold architecture, sky banners, lift stations, titans, uazds, and flying cities create the image of a strong and luminous civilization. But there is tension inside Rodia as well: not all lands entered the realm willingly, and for some peoples Rodian rule remains the rule of the victors.

Everyday life

Daily life and customs

Daily life in Rodia depends on the place. In Mansenwill, people live among tiered streets, bridges, squares, academies, palaces, workshops, and aerial harbors. Lower Mansenwill has more officials, porters, artisans, lift-station workers, warehouses, and caravan yards. In Ammat, life is tied to the sea, the port, fortress walls, underwater titans, and the road through the mountains. In Dolmar, the old Lagerian foundation and Rodian restoration are visibly mixed.

The clothing of Rodia's residents is usually light, layered, and urban: white, blue, burgundy, sand, copper, and gold tones. Officials and uazds dress more strictly, closer to uniforms; artisans and gamds dress more practically, with belts, tools, lenses, and work coats. Rodian culture values order, clean streets, ceremonies, education, craft, and the visible beauty of power. Even an ordinary square in Rodia is meant to remind a person that they live inside a great system, not merely between houses, as people usually do when given stones and taxes.

Society and power

Uazds

The uazds are Rodia's privileged magical estate. They serve in government, the army, magical institutions, and state structures. For ordinary residents, uazds are at once protectors, officials, mentors, and a reminder that Rodia remains a magocracy where power and magic are directly bound together.

City Residents

The foundation of Rodian society is made up of city residents: artisans, merchants, teachers, scribes, guards, students, masters, workers of lift stations, ports, and state services. They sustain the daily life of the realm and connect Mansenwill with ground cities, ports, and annexed regions.

Gamds

Gamds hold a special place in Rodia: engineers and masters tied to artifacts, titans, crystal systems, and magical-engineering infrastructure.
