About the people
Kimors are dead people summoned by Kimor after death. They retain a human face, clothing, and silhouette, but life has already left their bodies. Their skin turns ash-gray, their eyes grow dim, and the cause of death remains marked upon the body forever.
Beyond Kimor, they silently follow the call. They never stray from their path and barely notice anything around them. Only upon reaching the cursed kingdom does a kimor stop and begin repeating the final action before death. One raises a hand again. Another takes several steps and returns. A third repeatedly tries to hold an object that fell from their hands long ago. This continues until someone interferes. Then the kimor attacks.
Anyone can become a kimor. If a body remains without burial and rites for several days, the dead person hears Kimor’s call. They open dimmed eyes, rise, and walk north. Such dead are therefore sought out and destroyed before they can reach the borders of the cursed kingdom and become part of it.
